Mumbai: No let-off for scooterist who hit couple, caused toddler injuries

Refusing to grant leniency, a magistrate's court sentenced a 24-year-old student to 6 months' rigorous imprisonment for attempting to flee after ramming his bike into a couple in Andheri in 2019, causing their 1.5-year-old daughter to fall out of their arms and suffer a head injury.
