Spirits run low as Delhi stares at bottom of glass

The Delhi government’s decision to shift from the new excise policy – launched in November last year – to the old regime has left the tipplers high and dry. A fortnight after the sudden U-turn, a massive shortage of liquor – at retail outlets as well as hotels, restaurants and clubs – is being reported in the city.
