Mumbai bizman who held cop's collar gets 1 year in jail

A 43-year-old Grant Road businessman who pulled a cop's collar for refusing to take down his complaint against a man who had allegedly stolen his chain after a fight, has been convicted and sentenced to a year in jail. The accused, Pravin Kumar Hiran, was angry after his purported attacker came to the police station with CCTV footage that falsified his claim of chain-snatching.
