Waste disposal: Rs 200cr fine on Gzb civic bodies

The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has told civic agencies to pay up Rs 200 crore as compensation for failing to comply with solid and waste management norms across the city. The municipal corporation, GMC, has been directed to pay Rs 150 crore and the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) the rest.
