Delhi puts off ‘show PUC to get fuel’ drive

Delhi government has put off its decision to make PUC certificate mandatory for refuelling at petrol pumps. Environment minister Gopal Rai on Friday said the measure won’t be implemented from October 25 in the wake of fears expressed by fuel pump dealers about a law and order situation. “The petrol and diesel association has given suggestions related to law and order. We will discuss these with the CM and take a decision. It won’t begin from October 25 as a decision is to be taken on law and order suggestions,” Rai said.
