Hate speech complaint against BJP MP

Taking suo motu cognisance of an event held in Dilshad Garden on Sunday where BJP parliamentarian Parvesh Verma and the party’s Loni MLA, Nand Kishor Gurjar, allegedly made inflammatory remarks against a community, Delhi Police on Monday registered an FIR against the organisers. Sources said police had also received a complaint of hate speech against Verma and other speakers, which was still being investigated.
