Carnac bridge razed, ‘new one in 19 months’

The over 150-year-old Carnac bridge between CSMT and Masjid stations was dismantled by the railways on Sunday after a mammoth operation with over 500 people in action and megablocks on Central Railway's main and harbour lines lasting 16-19 hours.
