Sunday sloth? Barely 50% voter turnout in MCD poll

The high-decibel campaign for the elections for a reunified MCD - which has largely pitted BJP against AAP - seemed to have failed to enthuse voters, with a turnout of just 50.5% recorded till 5.30pm, the official closing time, on Sunday.
