Delhi court denies bail to Manish Sisodia, calls him plot ‘architect’

A court here on Friday dismissed the bail application of former Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia in the money laundering case connected to the alleged irregularities in formulation and implementation of Delhi Excise Policy 2021-22 observing that he was not only the architect of the conspiracy but also the "brain behind insertion of clauses of 12% profit margin for wholesalers and of enhancement of the eligibility criteria for wholesalers from Rs 100 crore to Rs 500 crore."
