Mumbai woman cheats 48 of Rs 3 crore via advance rents

Mill worker Kishore Jadhav's son Amit had landed a good job in a corporate office at Lower Parel and he was looking for a decent budget flat in the vicinity when he came across Chaya Kharat through a middleman. After meeting Chaya, Amit thought all his housing-related problems were over. Chaya arranged for him a 225 sq ft house for a deposit of Rs 15 lakh for three years 'with zero rent'.
