Temperature touches 39.4 degree Celsius in Delhi, highest for the season

The day temperature on Friday rose to 39.4 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal, at Safdarjung, which is the city’s base station. It was the highest maximum temperature recorded this season so far. Heatwave conditions are likely in isolated places on Saturday.
