As the new excise policy for 2023-24 comes into effect, some popular and premium liquor brands, including Glenfiddich, Smirnoff and Gold Label, have gone off the shelf in the city, forcing tipplers to walk away with medium-range alternatives or pick up their favourite bottle from neighbouring Delhi and Ghaziabad.
