40% of Aravalis in Haryana may lose protection

Large portions of the Aravalis in Haryana that have not yet been recorded as "forest" or covered under the Punjab Land Preservation Act (PLPA) could be out in the cold once amendments to the Forest Conservation Act (FCA) 1980 are passed by Parliament.
