Battle of whips likely in Maha assembly today

With the strength of the Eknath Shinde-Devendra Fadanvis-Ajit Pawar government in the legislative assembly increasing to 198 and that of the opposition, including the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), dropping to 90, following the Sena and NCP splits, the government is likely to have an easy run in the monsoon session of the state legislature, beginning Monday.
