Congress worker hurls ink at BMC official, booked

Member of a delegation of Congress activists, which met BMC M-East ward executive engineer in the ward office as part of the party's city-wide program to highlight corruption in BMC and civic grievances, allegedly threw ink at the engineer and threatened him. Following the incident, BMC officials lodged an FIR against the Congress activists and the Deonar police were was in the process of arresting five people in this connection at the time of going to press.
