RPF man falls off train in Thane, dies

A 53-year-old head constable of Railway Protection Force (RPF) died after falling into the gap between train and platform while alighting from a long-distance train at Kasara railway station. The head constable, Dilip Sonawane, had entered the train after being called by passengers to resolve a dispute. Kalyan RPF jawans said Sonawane was known as an honest and dedicated person who used to do his work with sincerity.
