29-year-old found killed in room in Nalasopara, partner missing

In Nalasopara (east), a grim discovery was made when the decomposed body of a 29-year-old woman, identified as Sheetal Sawant, was found in her rented room at Datta Niwas chawl. The incident came to light after residents noticed a foul smell emanating from the room and alerted the Tulinj police. Upon entering the room, they found Sheetal's body with her neck slashed and severe cut injuries on her legs.
