Delhi: Atishi gets water department, Saurabh Bharadwaj culture & tourism in swap
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has reshuffled his cabinet, handing over the water department to Atishi. The portfolio was previously held by Saurabh Bharadwaj, who will now oversee art, culture and languages, and tourism. The change comes as the Delhi Jal Board, which falls under the water department, faces financial difficulties and a special audit is conducted into alleged financial irregularities. Atishi now holds 13 departments, making her the busiest minister in Kejriwal's cabinet. This is the latest in a series of departmental changes since a major reshuffle earlier this year.
