Don't equate fin crimes to murder to deny bail: SC

The court emphasized that detention without trial should not be considered punishment, and bail should be considered for economic offences if the trial is expected to take a significant amount of time. The court also referred to the right to a speedy trial as a fundamental right of the accused.
