Amendments in Sena constitution not submitted to ECI: Speaker
Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar has refuted allegations that he did not consider the amended constitution of the Shiv Sena party while recognizing Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s faction as the legitimate Shiv Sena. Shiv Sena (UBT) leaders claimed to have provided amended copies to the Election Commission of India and the Speaker’s office. Narwekar defended his decision, stating that the letters presented by UBT leaders only declared the results of internal party elections and did not prove the amendment.
