19 year old drowns in Thane's Upwan lake

A 19-year-old resident of Manpada, Karan Singh, tragically drowned while swimming in Upwan lake near Yeour with friends. Despite initial rescue efforts, he was declared dead upon arrival at a government hospital. The Vartak Nagar police are investigating the incident and have registered it as accidental death.
