Maharashtra govt to insure 1.6 lakh govindas during dahi handi

The state government will insure 1,60,000 govindas during this year's Dahi Handi festival. Each participant will receive Rs 10 lakh coverage for death or severe injuries. Lesser amounts are provided for partial disablement and hospitalization expenses. Government hospitals will offer free medical treatment to all insured individuals.
