Activist moves Madras HC against BJP’s ‘Vel Yatra’

A city-based activist has approached the Madras high court to ban ‘Vel Yatra’ (rally) proposed by the state BJP unit. If permitted, the rally would aid the spread of Covid-19 besides creating law and order issues and communal disharmony, the petitioner claimed.
