Delhi: No ‘religious attire’ in schools: SDMC directive

The chairman of South Delhi Municipal Corporation’s (SDMC) education committee on Friday issued a letter directing the department to ensure that no student wears “religious attire” in school. The move comes in the backdrop of the ongoing Hijab controversy in Karnataka that is being argued in courts.
