Eid prayers peaceful in Jahangirpuri amid police presence

Amid heavy police presence and elaborate security arrangements, Eid prayers passed off peacefully in Jahangirpuri, which recently experienced communal violence. Namaz was held in two sessions to avoid crowding at the mosques. While many residents admitted to staying indoors for fear of violence, others expressed happiness at being able to celebrate Eid after two years of Covid restrictions.
