Maharashtra: Security beefed up in Thane

Datta Karale, the joint commissioner of Thane police said, “Sufficient bandobast has been deployed all around the commissionerate with nearly 350 police officers as well as 7500 constabulary, nine SRPF platoons and 300 home guards will keep an eye round the clock and the sensitive areas to have been under the heavy bandobast.”
