Tata Power transmission line tripping drops by 77% in four years due to robots, tech devices
Tata Power has seen a 77% drop in cases of transmission line tripping over the past four years, ensuring a reliable electricity supply. This reduction is a result of innovative steps, including the use of robots for breaker isolation and tree trimming. The company has also developed gadgets for cable identification and a robotic arm for cutting cables. Acoustic sensing is used for real-time monitoring, while turbo bird repellents and lightning arrestors provide protection. Additionally, robotic cleaning for solar panels and a moisture removing device for transformers have been implemented.
